2023 Degree First Year Admission Eligibility

English medium O-Level and A-Level students admission eligibility

Students who have passed at least four subjects including B grade in three subjects in 2018/2019 and 2020 O level examination and passed at least two subjects with B grade in one subject in A level examination of 2020/21/22 can apply for this admission program.

Candidates who cannot take admission in first year degree course 

If the registration card is issued after admission to undergraduate, professional and graduate, private courses under the National University in the academic year 2020-21 or 2021-22, those students who are first year graduates in the academic year 2022-23 cannot take admission in the course. 

However, within the prescribed period, the admission of the previous academic year can be canceled for the first year undergraduate course in the academic year 2022-23. If a student doubles admission in a graduate, professional or graduate, private course in the same academic year or in two different academic years, both his admission and registration will be cancelled.

1. Students will be admitted to the degree on the basis of SSC and HSC results without the admission test. Merit list will be prepared separately for each college and candidates will be allotted degree class subjects according to their preference. 
2. If the result obtained by two or more applicants in the same subject from the same college or institution is the same, in that case the applicant's GPA obtained in Ssc and Hsc examination with the fourth subject respectively shall be 40% and 60% respectively and 40% and 60% respectively of the total marks obtained in SSC and HSC examination on the basis of merit. The list will be published. 
3. Then if the results obtained by 2 or more applicants are same then the one who is younger in this case will be given higher priority. 

Degree application fee and college selection rules 

Degree application fee and college selection rules must be known. Currently the application fee for degree is Rs.250 and each applicant can apply to only one college. Moreover, if there is any mistake in the application form, the applicant can cancel it and apply again. However, one cannot cancel more than once and if the application form is confirmed by the college, then it cannot be canceled in any way.

Initial application for Bachelor/Degree first year admission under National University is normally completed in five steps. These preliminary steps can be completed online only. But before that, the necessary information must be collected. Following are the requirements for initial application:-

1. SSC or equivalent exam roll number and registration number will be required. 
2. HSC or equivalent exam roll number or registration number will be required. 
3. One copy of passport size photograph will be required.

Step 3: Then another page will open in front of you. Eligible subject list is given on the left side of the page. From here you can easily know in which course you can study for degree. Then you have to select the college from the second column. Select the college and select the first category. Then select the district and finally put the name of the college in which you want to get admission in the top choice list. Then in the second column you will get the option to select the subject and also see how many seats are available in which subject. Then click on the course which you will give first choice. Then click on the course choice given in number two. In this way one course after another can be chosen. 

Step 4: Now the page you can see will have quota. If you have any quota then select the desired quota by clicking yes option. And if there is no cut then no option should be selected. 

Step 5: In this step, the applicant must provide a photo, a mobile number and an email. Then click on the preview application to see if the correct information has been given. Then click on submit application button if you are sure. Then a file in PDF format will appear which needs to be downloaded and extracted. After extracting the form, the applicant can sign the form in place of student signature and submit the application fee of Tk 250 and submit the documents for admission.
